Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel, 1st DCA Region has an opening for an OPS Legal Assistant needed to support attorneys in our Fort Walton Beach office.  The position will be tasked with answering phones, transferring calls, greeting clients and must be able to handle electronic filings, calendaring and assigned tasks.  Must have some experience with Criminal and Civil law.  Experienced candidates must possess a high school diploma.  Candidates must have computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office 2013: Word, and Outlook.  Further, candidates must be able to have the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and project a professional and friendly demeanor in all inter-office, client, court personnel and opposing counsel interactions and communications.  The regular work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
